Dan Brunner

REALTOR®, District Director

Mr. Dan Brunner began his real estate career in 2008 after a 33‐year career as a certified Paramedic in the field as well as supervisory and management positions. He dreamed of working in real estate since the 1980’s. Dan hired an excellent mentor to assist him in starting up a real estate investment company, 3DMR Inc. in Arlington Texas. The business was named after those who motivate him to succeed; Debbie, Desiree, Mark, and Rachel… his wife and children. Dan began purchasing distressed properties and foreclosures to rehabilitate for resale. He found taking run down properties and making them the most attractive in the neighborhood to be very satisfying and profitable. He became very active in the real estate investment community attending Real Estate Investment clubs on a weekly basis. In 2011, he began speaking at investment clubs and mentoring new real estate investors.

In 2010 Dan saw how obtaining his real estate license could benefit his business and attended the Champions School of Real Estate obtaining his Texas Real Estate Salesperson license. Since he was new to real estate agency Dan decided to join a national brokerage in hopes of gaining more training and support. After several months, he was dissatisfied with the value provided by Re/Max and the high monthly fees with large commission splits. He moved his license to work under a brokerage operated by a real estate investor. Although the monthly fees and commission splits were less, Dan was still dissatisfied with the value provided. He heard about 100% commission brokerages but they seemed “too good to be true” and a bit sketchy. In 2012, an agent Dan worked with at the other brokerages called him and encouraged him to join Fathom Realty. Based on his colleague’s recommendation, the 100% commission, and low monthly fees he made the move to Fathom. Although he made the move for the 100% commission, Dan was pleasantly surprised to learn that the values and philosophy of Fathom were matched his values and beliefs. The technology and training provided was also a pleasant surprise.

In 2014 Dan and Debbie relocated to the Austin area for to help care for a special needs grandchild. Dan’s real estate investment mentor learned Dan had moved to the Austin area. He had taken on a real estate investment club and asked Dan to facilitate the monthly meetings of the Austin Real Estate Association. A few months later the District Director for Fathom Realty in Austin relocated to Florida and Dan was selected to serve the Central Texas Fathom agents as their District Director.

Dan enjoys serving the Fathom agents in Central Texas. He prides himself on being very responsive to agents when they reach out for help. Serving as a District Director allows him to improve his knowledge through monthly training sessions, reviewing/approving every Fathom‐Central Texas transaction, and helping agents work through transactional complications. He also enjoys mentoring new agents to help them develop successful businesses. He continues to serve buyers, sellers, and investors as an active Realtor®.

Dan always has time to talk about his favorite subject, real estate. He enjoys hunting, fishing, and working the land at the family farm. He is a member of the First Baptist Church of Lexington where he serves on the Worship and Facilities teams. Dan is still active as a Paramedic working part‐time for Lee County EMS and serves as a Firefighter/Paramedic with the Blue Volunteer Fire Department.
